Designer, Builder, Process-Maker
I have worked to gain a holistic understanding of the AEC industry from both professional and research-based opportunities.
Andrew Boghossian is a research associate in the Circular Construction Lab and Regenerative Architecture Lab at Cornell University. His work explores circularity in its two facets: technical---in the development of LiDAR-assisted building surveying for material reuse and diversion from waste cycles; as well as biological---in the exploration and testing of mycelium structural panels grown with local agricultural waste. Andrew received his Bachelors of Architecture at Cornell University in 2023 with a focus in architectural science and technology as well as a minor in Urban and Regional Studies. Andrew has previously worked in historic preservation, architectural design, and building deconstruction and salvage.
I work not just to perform design ideation to construction management services but develop a sustainable, design-focused practice of maximizing a building’s utility for clients and the environment by viewing what buildings can contribute over their entire life cycle---rather than what they can extract.
