The Twist

Structural model of The Twist Museum by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). This museum employs two space-frame steel structures, one horizontally oriented, and the other vertically oriented, to bridge across a river. As each side of the museum departs from the riverbed, they twist leading to a merged space-frame that transfers the loads of the structure.
